  • Karen Perry

    Western Trainer

Karen has recently moved from Texas. She has been riding since age 6 with a focus on trail riding, barrels, flags, and poles competitions. During college, she focused on training horses to sell to help cover tuition costs, and as an adult owned a small ranch raising and training foals as well as providing lessons. She is currently a Western Riding Instructor during the summers at Camp Waldemar for Girls, developing beginner riders into confident, educated riders that know the horse from the ground up. Her students understand what horsemanship is and the leadership impact that horses provide. Karen currently boards two horses with the Club and is excited to join the team as an instructor who encourages the love of horses in young riders, developing a growth mindset for life.
